Description
Borough wide supported accommodation, flexible support and crisis responses for Service Users aged between 16 - 24 years inclusive. The key objectives of the Service are to: Prevent Service Users aged between 16 - 24 years inclusive becoming homeless and prevent repeat cycles of homelessness; Provide good quality supported accommodation within an environment which promotes 'positive move-on'; Reduce social isolation for Service Users; Work with a range of agencies to assess and meet the needs of Service Users and share information and integrated working practices effectively; Promote and develop training and employment opportunities to ensure Service Users develop autonomy and are 'work-ready' upon leaving the service; Contribute to national and local agendas around rough sleeping; chronic exclusion; health; drugs and alcohol; community safety; and worklessness; and Provide Crisis Beds which can accommodate Service Users who would otherwise be rough sleeping.
