Grant Audit Services

The University of Portsmouth is looking for an Auditor with the specialist knowledge and experience required for the provision of Audit Services for Research and Innovation projects where such audits are required by the relevant sponsor (Interreg, Innovate, H2020 and other sponsors). The service required includes the provision of an audit function as required by the terms of the project sponsor on a case by case basis and would include acting as a First Level Controller for Interreg Projects; provision of management reports in relation to the project; acting as a knowledge base for grant audit issues and assist with audit queries and clarifications from various parties not limited to sponsors, lead partners and the JTS; and assisting with Second Level Control audit where appropriate. To ensure compliance with each sponsor specific requirements The initial Contract Period for the Agreement shall be three (3) years with the option to extend for a further two years. The anticipated start date is estimated as 1st August 2019 once the Contract agreed. Please note this is an estimate only and is subject to change.
