Description

Great Places Housing Group is responsible for over 27,000 homes and properties across the North West and South Yorkshire. This contract is for the planned preventative maintenance and responsive repair of passenger lifts and domestic stair lifts across a diverse property portfolio, including residential blocks, sheltered housing, offices, and community facilities. For passenger lifts, platform lifts, step lifts, through-floor lifts, and stair lifts installed within the Employer's Properties, the awarded Contractor will complete to best industry practice: (1) Lift Servicing (2) Reactive maintenance / responsive repairs (3) 24/7/365 entrapment response. The contract will cover properties located in Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Staffordshire, Derbyshire, and South Yorkshire. This covered procurement is was conducted in accordance with the Procurement Act 2023, using the open procedure. Tenders were submitted via the e-tendering portal, ProContract.

In summary this includes: - must be able to work on all the systems of lifts detailed in the associated tender documents. - ability to attend the four Great Places regions within 60 minutes of notification. - All lift engineers must hold a minimum NVQ Level 3 in Lift Maintenance or Lift Engineering - Lift engineers must have completed LEIA-accredited courses, such as EOR 202 (Basic Lift Safety). - Employees responsible for issuing test certificates must hold NVQ Level 4 Test Engineers or equivalent. - All operatives shall have received appropriate health and safety training and passed an approved site safety passport scheme such as the CSCS scheme. - evidence ISO 9001 certification. - evidence CHAS membership. - confirm that they are an LEIA member. - Pass requirements for cyber security - agree to the obligations set out in the Associated Tender Documents
