The Further Forces Programme - The Northern Recruitment and Delivery Hub

The Education and Training Foundation awarded a contract for the management and delivery of 'The Further Forces Programme - Northern Hub'. The Further Forces programme is a recruitment and training programme for service leavers wanting to teach SET subjects in the Further Education sector. The key activity of this ITT was to establish a Northern Hub to work closely with the University of Portsmouth as the Southern Hub, to recruit 100 service leavers to the programme and to provide support for service leavers to secure employment. The two delivery hubs, Northern and Southern together had a combined service leaver recruitment target of 210 service leavers on programme and in employment in the FE sector by July 2020.
