Wellingto Road

Wokingham Borough Council are inviting tenders for the provision of the construction of Wellington Road Bellmouth. This project includes but not limited to the realignment of the existing bellmouth; narrowing of existing carriageway width and widen existing footpaths, relocation of affected gullies and installation of kerbs as highlighted in drawing 2002-WE-BM-100-001. The site is a public open within Wokingham town centre with the existing pedestrian provision. \r The works shall be undertaken wholly in accordance with the Department for Transport (DfT) Manual of Contract Documents for Highway Works (MCHW) Volume 1 Specification for Highway Works (SHW) latest revision in addition to the requirements listed in the tender documentation and drawings provided. \r
