Description

Ceredigion County Council is awarding to a suitably qualified and competent Supplier for the supply and delivery of surface dressing chippings.The prices submitted by bidders were calculated using estimated tonnages for the purposes of the tender evaluation only. The actual value will be dependant upon usage, determined by the service and subject to budget availability. Yearly prices will be indexed in accordance with the contract to reflect market pricing. The contract will run from 7th April 2026 to 30th September 2027, with an option to extend for up to 12 months (18 months +12 months), subject to agreement by both parties. The maximum duration of the contract will be 30 months. There is no maximum or minimum value for this contract but it is estimated that average tonnages based on historical usage will be approximately 400 tonnes of 6mm aggregate and 4,000 tonnes of 10mm aggregate per annum. It is estimated that approximately 1,200 tonnes of swept stone will be required to be processed for reuse. Award decision was made on 24th of March 2026 and standstill concludes at midnight on the 2nd of April 2026 via eTenderWales. Contract signature date entered here reflects system validation requirements.
