Description
To unload from MoD provided transport of c.55T and dispose of armour. The armour will be delivered to the supplier in qty 6 20ft ISO containers, each container will hold qty 5 'Thatcham pallets'. The supplier will be required to: • Unload ISO containers from MoD provided transport • Remove the Thatcham pallets from the ISO containers • Empty armour from the pallets • Load armour into the 'charge' basket • Transfer charge basket load to furnace • Reload empty Thatcham pallets into ISO containers • Reload ISO containers onto MoD provided transport • Provide access to facilities to accommodate up to 8 MoD staff attending • Provide specialist PPE for up to 2 MoD staff witnessing the smelting The supplier will be required to provide comprehensive Health & Safety Briefing to MoD personnel attending the smelt. MoD staff numbers attending will be kept to a minimum but could be up to 8. DELIVERABLES; Provide a summary report of the impact on the supplier Provide a technical report of the chemical analysis
