Award criteria
Criteria the buyer will use to evaluate bids.
| Name | Description | Type | Weighting |
|---|---|---|---|
| Price and resources | Half the weighting is for price and half is for resources. See the ITT for more info on how this is scored | price | 40.00% |
| Understanding of the Brief | Why no separate criterion for social value? PPN 002 requires contracting authorities like the V&A to allocate at least 10% of the total score to social value when awarding contracts, but only where it is "relevant to the subject matter of the contract and proportionate". In providing expert sustainability advice, you will be making a significant contribution to Outcome 4 of the government's Social Value Model: reducing carbon footprints, minimising waste, and promoting the use of clean energy and green technologies. We think that the best way for us to maximise social value is to pick the provider that can best provide us these services, which is why we have not explicitly allocated 10% of the weighting to social value. In other words, it's all social value! | quality | 20.00% |
| Relevant experience | — | quality | 20.00% |
