Shared Lives PS/2015/103

Thurrock Council sought to appoint a provider to establish and to rapidly grow a Shared Lives scheme in Thurrock. Shared Lives is a scheme that provides care and support to vulnerable adults by recruiting, training and assessing individuals and families who can provide them with care and support in their own homes. The establishment of a Shared Lives scheme in Thurrock is intended to deliver improved outcomes for individuals, in a way that compliments Thurrock’s approach and commissioning priorities. Thurrock Council wishes the successful provider to work in partnership with the Shared Lives Incubator, who offer social investment and expert advice on Shared Lives, in order to help establish Shared Lives in a sustainable, successful manner. The successful provider would be the sole and exclusive provider of Shared Lives services to Thurrock Council. PLEASE NOTE THIS CONTRACT HAS BEEN AWARDED.
