Description

The London Borough of Hackney Children & Families Service is pleased to invite bids from suitably qualified organisations for the supply of a 'by and for' agency specialising in work with Black women of African and/or Caribbean heritage, to deliver an Independent Domestic Violence Advocacy service in Hackney. The service will support Black women and children of an African and/or Caribbean heritage who have experienced domestic and/or sexual violence and abuse, including sexual exploitation and prostitution Providers will be required to evidence 'By and For' status for Black and Global Majority women and the ability to deliver 'in-person' IDVA provision to Hackney residents when needed and at short notice. The Contract will be awarded for three (3) years starting 01st July 2025 with an option to extend for up to a further 1 year. The Council anticipates that the Transfer of Undertakings (TUPE) may apply to this contract. TUPE Information will be made available upon request. The Council is undertaking this tender process via its electronic (e) tendering portal, the London Tenders Portal [LTP]. Tender documents may be obtained by download from the LTP.
