ECI Steelwork - A47 Tuddenham

NOTIFICATION OF SUBCONTRACT PACKAGE A47 North Tuddenham to Easton Scheme Galliford Try, as one of the East Region Delivery Integration Partners, are delivering the A47 Tuddenham project in the county of Cambridgeshire on behalf of National Highways. This project involves the fabrication and installation of the River Tud Bridge and the Easton Pedestrian Overbridge on the A47 North Tuddenham to Easton Scheme, which is part of major improvements to the existing A47. The project has recently submitted a Development Consent Order to the Planning Inspectorate and the project is forecast to commence on site in March 2023 and will take around 2 years to complete. Package: Steel Works Outline Scope of Works The Steel Works Package consists of: ECI: Early Contractor Involvement. To provide technical and commercial input into the detailed design phase and to formulate the budget and programme for the works. To produce working and fabrication drawings as necessary to suit the requirements of the temporary works design and AIPs for the bridges supply and assembling. Programme It is currently anticipated that the ECI works will commence in March 2022.
