HCC June 19 - The Provision of Collection and Disposal of Clinical Waste, Offensive Waste and Small Animal Remains - AWARD

This procurement has been awarded. Hertfordshire County Council (the Council) as the Waste Disposal Authority (WDA) is responsible for the disposal of all waste collected by the Waste Collection Authorities (WCAs) under their duties and powers defined in the Environment Protection Act 1990 together with waste collected at Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRCs). This waste is known as Local Authority Collected Waste (LACW) and includes Clinical Waste and Offensive Waste as defined in the Controlled Waste Regulations 2012. The Council and Participating Bodies have awarded a Framework Agreement for the provision of collection and transport of approved wastes to a licensed Treatment / Disposal Facility for disposal.
