Description
A step change in front line medical diagnostic capability is required to improve patient care (morbidity/ mortality), management of limited resources, and reduce operational risk (medical and tactical). Diagnostic medical point of care ultrasound provides frontline clinicians the additional information to make informed decisions on how best to manage patients (including prolonged field care), resources, and medical evacuation In order to run a representative phase 2 capability pilot test fourty ultrasound transducers and associated enterprise workflow software accounts (annual - covering the next two financial years) are required- membership to allow users to store, access and collaborate. Includes: security (SSO & MDM Restrictions), QA / QI. (Worksheets, Reporting, Credentialing) and Integration (DICOM.). Ancillary equipment in protective equipment cases and interchangeable USBC/Lightening cables are also required. The ultrasound equipment and software to deliver this training must be aligned with projected future needs for front line capability and is tied into the Ultrasound Working Group and current key user requirements for replacement of Role 2 ultrasound equipment: handheld lightweight ultrasound with teleradiological support.
