Description
Somerset County Council operates two Park and Ride sites within Taunton, located at Silk Mills and Gateway. Whilst CCTV is being used at Silk Mills, the quality of the footage obtained at the site is inadequate. It is has been decided that the CCTV footage needs to be of a higher quality, as a means of increasing the safety and security of the public and staff; as an aid to police investigations; and as a tool to assist in the general management of the Park and Ride environment.
