EU Integration of UK Forest Law Enforcement, Governance and Trade (FLEGT) (2nd MoU - 6 Month Termination Notice)

A UK electronic system has been developed to process licenses in the UK, allow exchange of data between Government agencies and provide a method for importers to pay the necessary fee. The next stage is to integrate the domestic electronic system with the EU's electronic system, which manages FLEGT licences EU-wide. This will allow automatic reporting of licence information to the European Commission (a requirement of the FLEGT Regulations).
