Description
Norse Group are seeking to appoint a number of suppliers to work with North Norfolk District Council, Coastwise and communities to co-create coastal erosion Community Transition Plans. Through this work Coastwise seeks to co-create and develop coastal erosion Community Transition Plans for local villages, which will identify immediate and long-term risks and actions and foster community engagement. The plans will address coastal erosion challenges and incorporate local knowledge and priorities. The project will focus on several coastal areas, including Happisburgh, Weybourne, Overstrand, Trimingham, Bacton, and Walcott. Each location has distinct impacts, with some areas already experiencing the effects of coastal erosion. Through this tender, suppliers will be engaged to collaborate with communities and other stakeholders to co-created Community Transition Plans by December 2025. A supplier will also be selected to provide additional oversight, learning and impact activities and support.
