Description
Ipswich and East Suffolk Clinical Commissioning Group and West Suffolk Clinical Commissioning Group are seeking to re-commission a contract for the Marginalised and Vulnerable Adults Service (MVA); the redesigned service is due to start in October 2017 after a tender process has identified a preferred provider(s). The MVA Service currently provides specialist health advice and support to a range of groups including homeless, refugees, migrant workers, ex-prisoners, Gypsies and Travellers, and Roma Communities providing a key link with Primary Care practices within the CCG areas (excluding Waveney). In addition, the Service works with a range of statutory and third sector organisations to address health inequalities faced by marginalised and vulnerable population groups, some with significant health needs; this includes local authorities, acute hospitals, mental health, third Sector, community organisations and other local health and social care providers. The redesigned service is due to start in October 2017 and is expected to be worth in the region of £780,000 per annum. In order to ensure that the service specification which will be the subject of the procurement is appropriate for delivery the Clinical commissioning Groups would like to receive feedback. Attached to this notice is a copy of the draft specification which will be released with the tender. If you have any comments on the specification please return these to the Clinical Commissioning Group via the following email jane.garnett@suffolk.nhs.uk by the 24th March 2017.
