Description
Coventry City Council's Adult Education Service has secured a grant allocation from West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) to deliver financial literacy activities for adults to improve their numeracy skills to as part of WMCA Multiply Operation Plan funded through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF). Multiply Funding has been allocated by the Department for Education to the West Midlands Combined Authority to act as Lead Authority for 7 local authority partners (Birmingham, Coventry, Dudley, Sandwell, Solihull, Walsall and Wolverhampton). The overall objective of Multiply is to increase the levels of functional numeracy in the adult population across the UK. Multiply will support the Levelling Up mission to ensure that by 2030, the number of people successfully completing high-quality skills training will have significantly increased in every area of the United Kingdom
