Description
This project is an innovative employer led digital skills programme, supporting participants from underrepresented groups, focusing on women and autistic people, building pathways to digital jobs, combing tested practice. The project will deliver six core functions: a) Support underrepresented groups to gain demand led digital skills and enter employment within digital roles b) Deliver an innovative employer led, co-designed and co-delivered digital skills programme, embedding work experience and mentoring alongside practical digital training delivered through industry experts c) Clear route to sustainability and scale-up by training up a cadre of digital ambassadors that will replicate training for underrepresented groups beyond the lifetime of this project d) Expert advice and practical adaptations to training venues and workplaces to ensure they are autism-friendly e) Evaluation will provide quantitative and qualitative data, measuring the impact of new and innovative methods for digital skills growth f) Provide genuine collaborative leadership across Digital Industries, Academia, Public Sector and Communities, ensuring sustainability
