Description
On 31st March 2022 the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) announced a multi-year national funding commitment to support victims and survivors of domestic abuse (DA) and sexual Violence (SV). This includes £27m per annum ringfenced funding to maintain the ISVA/IDVA posts funded in FY 2021/22 until the end of FY 2024/25, an additional 3.75m per annum to recruit an additional 300 ISVA/IDVA posts by 2024/25 with the aim of recruiting an additional 100 ISVA/IDVAs in 2022/23, and ringfenced funding of £15.7m per annum for DA and SV support services. The Warwickshire OPCC circulated the needs assessment template to Local Authority Commissioners and providers of Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence Services. The bids were collated and prioritised by the OPCC. The funding was initially allocated in 2022/23 on a grant award basis. This notice relates to further awards of MOJ additional funding for Independent domestic and sexual violence advisers for 2023/24 and 2024/25. All funding streams and each individual supplier award are below the Light Touch Regime Threshold.
