CB/BFG/0138 - Provision of Agency Fuel Cards by British Forces Germany (BFG) on behalf of the MOD

The Authority has a requirement to provide a means for drivers of service vehicle fleets to obtain transport fuel from commercial retail service stations in locations throughout Europe. The service must include a payment and invoicing mechanism that is widely accepted by service stations and allows for centralised invoicing and payment by an Official Procurement Agency. The invoice service requires a breakdown of usage that will allow users to be identified in order to facilitate an assurance of appropriate use and accurate billing. The fuel is to be provided free of all Federal taxes and duties when drawn in the Federal Republic of Germany, under the terms of the Supplementary Agreement to the Status of Forces Agreement.
