Description
The purpose of this commission is to ensure quality in design and delivery of the Wood Green programme, from early test projects to the future built environment. This commission seeks to make sure that all interventions are cohesive and have an identity which is unique to Wood Green. The outputs for this commission include: 1. A summary of the document review carried out on existing guidance, policy and precedents, including a gap analysis. 2. A programme of public and stakeholder engagement with a report of the consultation carried out. 3. A Digital Engagement Platform - as a long-term asset for the Council and community 4. A report setting out findings from a character study building on the document review in 5. A Design Guide report, building on work done to date - including a palette of materials 6. The strategy to support a series of Public Realm Interventions, (RIBA Stages 0-2) 7. The potential design of a series Public Realm Interventions which will include signage/wayfinding, and green infrastructure, (RIBA Stages 3-6).
