Description
The HSIB safety investigation education programme has been established to meet its, own organisational, training needs and that of the wider NHS. The purpose is to optimise the outcomes of safety investigations to ensure that learning is realised, and patient safety improved. The programme meets these needs by designing and delivering training courses which prepare safety investigators to work to HSIB determined safety investigation standards within HSIB and across health and potentially, social care services. HSIB use a learning management system (LMS) to manage the administration, documentation, tracking, reporting, automation and delivery of educational, training and development programmes. The LMS provides an online learning platform that is intuitive, accessible, secure, and functional (in line with HSIB requirements).
