Description
Dynamic Vapour Sorption (DVS) or Dynamic Vapour Absorption (DVA) is a technique that measures how quickly and how much of a solvent is absorbed by a particular sample. The sample can be solid or liquid and the technique is used in many different industries to quantify, for example, water uptake by powders and plasticizing of polymers with solvents. Understanding these properties greatly enhances both processing capability and measurement of application properties. The ability to understand these properties will greatly enhance the capability of the National Formulation Centre
