Description

Queen’s University Belfast - The Future Medicines Institute (FMI) intends to procure a peptide synthesis solution comprising equipment, associated consumables, and appropriate maintenance and support arrangements to enable in house peptide synthesis capability. • Establishment of a reliable, in house peptide synthesis capability aligned to research delivery requirements. • Provision of supplier support, including training, to ensure competent and effective operation by authorised users. • Delivery of scalable synthesis capability to support routine generation of short peptides and time efficient synthesis of longer peptide sequences. • Enablement of consistent, reproducible outputs to meet ongoing and future research needs. The Future Medicines Institute (FMI) is focused on the identification and development of novel therapeutics and diagnostic approaches. The required capability will support experimental workflows by enabling the generation of peptide materials essential to underpin these research activities, contributing to institutional strategic objectives in advanced therapeutics. The solution is expected to support broader academic use, enabling access across relevant research groups and maximising utilisation. This will facilitate collaborative research activity and enhance overall institutional research capability and impact.
