1283 - Material Handling Equipment Framework

CPI currently has various units on hire from various providers (please refer to the Tender Pack for details of the incumbent providers). The intention of the Procurement exercise is to achieve significant cost savings across the business by having one provider supply all equipment to CPI, achieving savings by having a "one stop provider" for all hire and subsequent maintenance requirements. The successful provider will provide necessary annual service / inspections and necessary certifications to CPI throughout the duration of the agreement. The successful bidder will assist CPI in refreshing its current on hire fleet upon award of the contract and provide CPI with equipment which is fit for purpose for each individual area as required, ensuring CPI staff have the necessary training provision for safe operation of the equipment and that the subsequent equipment is maintained to the necessary level by way of service/maintenance contract.
