Description
We are procuring organisations to maintain and facilitate a youth voice network for the Electoral Commission from 2026-2030. We expect existing members of the Youth Voice Network to be offered the opportunity to continue in the network, should they wish, to support continuity and the ongoing development of their knowledge and skills, while enabling them to share these with others. This is not intended to privilege existing providers. Proposals should demonstrate how applicants will balance retaining experienced participants with engaging new young people and introducing fresh approaches. The successful organisations will: - support young people to increase their knowledge of voting and democracy and their confidence to participate - both young people directly involved in the network and those who are not - support meaningful engagement between the Electoral Commission and youth voice network members - this includes consultations about our work - support youth voice network members to co-create educational resources and programmes for their peers - be a key delivery partner for Welcome to Your Vote Week in their respective nation (usually taking place annually in March) - advise the Electoral Commission on how to expand the remit and impact of the Youth Voice Network, including defining routes to decision-making and engagement with our Board of Commissioners - engage a diverse group of young people in the network
