Description

The West Mercia Police & Crime Commissioner (the Authority) is to invite tenders for provision of Digital Services Resources via a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) to support the Digital Services Programme. Warwickshire Police and Crime Commissioner can gain access to this agreement as and when they require. A DPS is a system available to buying organisations and allows them to buy works, services and goods commonly available on the market. As a procurement tool, it has some aspects that are similar to an electronic framework agreement, however new suppliers can join during the term. It has its own specific set of requirements and it is run as a completely electronic process, and is set up under regulations as set out in Regulation 34 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 The DPS will, once established, run for a period of 2 years plus 2 x 12 month extensions. This extension period shall be subject to: • The organisational requirements of the Authority. • The Contractor maintaining levels of performance which are acceptable to the Authority throughout the preceding contract period. • The Contractor offering levels of pricing and value which are acceptable to the Authority for the extension period The Authority reserves the right to curtail the period of the DPS at its discretion and will notify existing participants and the market more widely in accordance with the requirements of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.
