Description
The cliff stabilisation scheme will involve: • Demolition o Demolition and removal of existing 1970s transverse beams stabilisation schemes o Demolition and removal of an early masonry wall located on the cliff • Proposed Construction o Installation of new service ducting (water and power) o Prepare existing cliff face to allow the installation of the soil stabilisation system o Supply and install on the existing cliff face approx. 5500m2 of: Soil nailing, structural mesh and erosion protection matting The works will also involve monitoring the stability of the cliff during the works, and installation of temporary works to prevent damage to the beach huts
