Description
The City of Liverpool College comprises 48,063m2 of buildings and infrastructure across five main sites, all of which are in the Liverpool city centre. The Learning Exchange is the colleges' flagship building and whilst lighting is zoned in larger spaces and occupational sensors located offices and teaching areas it is the only site to operate inefficient high frequency lighting throughout the building. An initial phase of work was completed over the summer 2020 which included replacing emergency and lighting in high use areas with LED. This 2nd phase will replace most of the remaining lighting in the building with highly efficient LED lighting system, which will significantly improve the energy performance of the building. All work must be completed so as not to impact on normal college operations, it is expected most of the activity will take place over the half term break or from 1700hrs to 0600hrs
