Supporting Families

The Council is seeking applications from suitable organisations that are interested in tendering to support North Tyneside Councils approach to .early intervention and prevention services by providing support for families this will include the following • Deliver an early intervention service, working with identified families to promote family stability and avoid the need for more specialist services. The service will proactively identify families in need of support and take referrals from the MASCT, developing a personalised approach to support. • Deliver a prevention service, working with families with multiple and complex needs of whom some will form part of the North Tyneside Council Supporting Families Programme. • Deliver a step down service, providing a planned "step down" for families who have previously had a more intensive level of support.
