Description

Description Newton and Noss Parish Council is responsible for the management and maintenance of the play area in Butts Park, Newton Ferrers and would like to replace two climbing units with one larger multifunctional role play climbing unit. The Council would like: • the unit sited on the south side of the play area where the larger of the two older units stand (the unit on the right-hand picture above) • the area where the smaller unit is to be removed made good because it has an old wet pour surface • one piece of equipment which can be used by older and younger children • to improve the entrances to the play tunnel in the grassy hill as the soil/turf wears away (see second photo behind climbing equipment) • to install trim trail equipment in addition to climbing/role play unit if the budget allows • All drawings must be to scale The play area is located close to the coast; therefore the Council has specified that the equipment to be in either recycled plastic or non-rusting metal. Proposals for timber equipment will not be accepted.
