Repair of Qty 28 X200 Transmissions

Babcock DSG Ltd acting as the Authority's agent intends to negotiate a single source Contract with Caterpillar Defence Products Ltd for the repair/remanufacture of Qty 28 X200 transmissions fitted to the Bulldog Armoured Vehicle Platform. A component of the X200 transmission, the transfer box chain, has been declared obsolete and the X200 itself has undergone post design modification. This contract utilises the remaining transfer box chains to repair 28 X200's to the previous design specification.
