Description
The Ministry of Defence has a legal responsibility to ensure that its operations are conducted in as safe manner as is reasonably practicable, as stipulated in the Secretary of State for Defence's policy statement 'Safety, Health and Environmental Protection in the Ministry of Defence', and the provision of an Independent Consultancy forms part of this process. To achieve this, the RAF requires an independent organisation to advise on RAF Airfield Wildlife Control policy, as well as the standardisation and performance of unit Airfield Wildlife Control personnel, in compliance with UK Government legal obligations.
