Description

The aim of this tender process is to select and appoint a provider to assist the partnership of GC Business Growth Hub, Greater Manchester Combined Authority and Tameside Council in delivering the two requirements listed below. The winning bidder will be required to undertake both elements. The Provider will be required to: - a) Deliver a GM-wide survey which will collect data on current and future business performance and practices, across a range of themes, including: • Enterprise demographics and performance • Barriers to growth • Skills, training and recruitment • International trade • Business Support • Innovation Activity • Costs and finance b) Create a merged dataset which contains comparable and consistent data across each of the previous five rounds of the Greater Manchester Business Survey, as well as data gathered from the 2019 survey in due course, in order to enable time-series analysis of survey findings. The supplier will be required to bring together comparable data from 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015/16, 2017 and 2019 surveys from individual datasets in SPSS format into a single dataset, in a format compatible with both Tableau and Power BI.
