Lancashire County Council operates an Ice Prediction System with road Weather Stations with road sensors which are installed at a number of locations on the road network throughout the County. The Weather Stations provide current information on road conditions. The successful Weather Forecast Service Provider will be expected to manage this information and present Weather Forecast data in a format acceptable to the Authorities.
