Description
Procurement of Greater Manchester Waste and Resource Management Services, including Waste and Resource Management Services (WRMS), Household Waste Recycling Centre Management Services (HWRC),and Biowaste Management Services (BMS), and all associated works. Scope currently includes five residual waste sites; twenty Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRC); eight Transfer Loading Stations (TLS); the Bolton Thermal Recovery Facility (TRF); the Materials Recovery Facility(MRF); 3 Biowaste facilities; the obligation to produce Solid Recovered Fuel (SRF); and associated rail transport and supply to the Runcorn Thermal Power Station (TPS). In addition to the services, the scope will also include construction changes across a number of sites and facilities. GMWDA is approaching the market with three separate Lots: Lot One: Waste and Resource Management Services; Lot Two: Household Waste Recycling Centre Management Services; and Lot Three: Biowaste Management Services. Potential Candidates have the option to apply for any one Lot, any combination of Lots, or all of the Lots.
