Description
We are seeking an appropriately qualified and experienced Examiner to conduct an examination of a new East Suffolk CIL Charging Schedule. Section 212 (2) of the Planning Act 2008 says that any CIL Charging Schedule examiner must be (a) independent of the charging authority and (b) has appropriate qualifications. The Council is therefore seeking such a person. It is essential that the person has previous experience of undertaking at least one CIL Examination (in the recent past) and, in terms of professional qualifications, is a chartered town planner (MRTPI) and/or chartered surveyor (MRICS) or has another similar professional qualification.
