Description
Oxfordshire County Council's Public Health Team are seeking a provider for Recovery-Based Supported Housing in Oxfordshire. The aim of the Service is to assist people in maintaining abstinence from drug and/or alcohol dependence by providing recovery based support in a residential setting. The Contract provides a property within Oxfordshire with 7 individual bedrooms. Good transportation links to the building are essential so that residents can attend community treatment, social activities, therapy groups, paid work, voluntary sessions and educational programmes. The Service Provider is responsible for all housing management functions and up-keep of the building. The Service provider will staff the project during core hours and support residents to maintain their recovery from alcohol and/or drugs through provision of a programme of support interventions and activities. The contract period is 2 years, with an option for the Council to extend by a further 2 years, commencing on 1 October 2023.
