Grounds maintenance of Cottenham Recreation Ground & associated facilities

Cottenham Parish Council (CPC) are looking for a grounds maintenance company to provide all specified maintenance on our recreation ground. The contract is for an initial 1 year term, with the option to extend each and every year up to a total of a 3 year term subject to satisfactory performance. The Recreation Ground supports seasonal sports - football in winter, cricket and lawn tennis in summer - childrens' playgrounds and skatepark. It is also the location for the Village Hall, sports pavilion, a pre-school and a nursery facility. CPC's responsibility is to ensure that the grounds are kept to the standards required by the sports clubs and their respective governing bodies. The main sports facility is currently divided into three distinct areas, Fields 1-3 (F1-3). • F1 has the primary adult 11v11 football pitch • F2 has 11v11, 9v9 and 7v7, football pitches, football training area, cricket square and field • F3 has 11v11, small 11v11 and 9v9 football pitches Works will include mowing, line marking, weed control and seasonal maintenance.
