Description
Luton Council is looking to add to its a pool of approved alternative education providers to meet the needs of learners who are permanently excluded from school or who require specialist support to improve their behaviour. Alternative provision may also be put in place for pupils who are signed off from school on medical grounds. Potential providers are required to evidence how they meet the Quality Standards set by the Council. The Council would like to invite tenders from the following specialist areas, such as building and plastering, hair and beauty, motor mechanics, horse/equine therapy, specialised work with young people involved with gangs and violence, Art/design/textiles, sports and computer science courses. The Council would also like to invite tenders from providers where students with medical needs can be placed, including students with mental health and anxiety providing a caring nurturing environment for these students to thrive in.
