Description
Staffordshire County Council is seeking tenders for a framework of organisations for the provision of 'Communicator Guide Services' to support sensory impaired service users across the County of Staffordshire by suitably trained and qualified 'Communicator Guides.' They would support service users either in their home or elsewhere within the County in accordance with their personalised individual support plan to achieve their chosen outcomes, and or to assist a Social worker to communicate at the client's initial assessment and/or at reviews. Qualifying persons would have dual sensory impairment, or physical disabilities which include dual sensory impairment or health or age related problems and have been assessed as capable of benefiting from the service. There will be no guaranteed hours and payment will be based on the actual service delivered, there is a fixed Rate per hour of £19.30.
