Description
Trafford Council are seeking to procure the services of suitably qualified Consultants to prepare a Conservation Area Regeneration Plan (CARP) for the Empress Conservation Area in Old Trafford. Trafford Council, working in partnership with Historic England and Homes England, are seeking to commission a Plan to help stimulate the heritage-led regeneration of the Conservation Area. The Plan will encouraging community participation in the undervalued historic environment, promoting restoration and re-use of vacant positive contributor buildings and enabling high quality place making through the provision of clear and unambiguous planning and design guidance.The Plan will build upon the foundations set out in the 2016 Conservation Area Appraisal (CAA) and Conservation Area Management Plan (CAMP) and recommendations of the HIVE Planning (on behalf of Homes England) briefing note for Trafford Council in respect of Empress Conservation Area (May 2023).
