Description
West Dean Parish Council is a civil parish in Gloucestershire covering half of the forested area of the Forest of Dean and includes many historic working sites as well as several villages. The parish covers an area of 45.13Km squared with a population of over 10,330 residents. This contract is for grass cutting and general maintenance of the West Dean Parish Council, Gloucestershire estate, either owned or managed by the parish council. The Parish Council is responsible for a small number of closed churchyards, play areas and open spaces which require grass cutting, There is also the need to provide the following maintenance services, the cleaning and general care of bus shelters, litter bin emptying, and monitoring and replenishment of salt in the Parish Council owned grit bins. All potential suppliers of these services must submit the completed Form of Tender with all supporting documentation including insurance certificates, safe systems of work/method statements, financial documents and details of referees. The assessment criteria are detailed in the tender documents along with the submission date of Friday 20th January for completed tenders. The Contract will commence on 1st April 2023 with the successful contractor being advised during March 2023.
