Description
The MMO wish to evaluate the impact that new management measures have had on the Lyme Bay Dover Sole fishery and therefore, require an impact evaluation framework and associated indicators to be developed. These need to be able to address social, economic, and ecological impacts of these management measures. These will need to be developed in line with the guidelines set out in the Central Government guidance on evaluation - the Magenta Book. The objectives of this work are to: Page 6 of 23 Version 2.0 LIT 58468 1. Develop a theory of change (ToC) 2. Develop evaluation questions 3. Develop a framework (based on the ToC) through which the ecological, social, and economic impacts and trade-offs since the implementation of the new management measures can be evaluated 4. Develop indicators to enable assessment against a successful outcome 5. Assessment of data available for evaluation with a gap analysis and data collection plan 6. Collection of baseline data that will enable the impact of the new management measures to be understood. 7. Generation of material summarising this work and its findings for wider organisation This project was awarded by MMO.
