TMTii 26 - Asset Data Collection in Support of Asset Support Contracts & DBFO's

Highways England requires a robust and up to date knowledge base that provides both quantitative (inventory) and qualitative (condition) data for managing its Asset Support Contracts (ASC's), Asset Delivery (AD) contracts and its Design, Build, Finance & Operate (DBFO) contracts. Developing and maintaining high quality and readily accessible information about its assets is a requirement of Highways England's operating licence and a key performance metric assessed by the Monitor. Up to date and unambiguous data is particularly important in maintaining safety critical assets and the attendant risk of their failure in a prompt and proactive way.
