Blood Component Therapies

The Institution will provide the required laboratory facilities and technical support in order for the Principal Investigator to conduct research in order to answer the following objectives: a. Evaluate clot structure and stability in clots formed from whole blood vs. red blood cell, plasma and platelet component therapy b. How do additive and storage solutions used to stabilise red blood cell and platelet component therapies alter clot structure and stability? c. How does cold or warm storage of blood products alter clot structure and stability
