Residential Rehabilitation (Intermediate Care)

Noth of England Commissioning Support (NECS) is a commissioning support service hosted by NHS England which has supported a procurement process to award a short term contract for the provision of Intermediate Care Rehabilitation Beds in Darlington for and on behalf of NHS Darlington Clinical Commissioning Group (DCCG).This short term contract is to enable the DCCG to continue to deliver services in a robust and cost effective manner whilst undertaking a review to enter into a future procurement process of all Intermediate Care beds currently provided in the Darlington locality which will be effective as a single contract from 1st April 2021. The current services provided are 14 intermediate care rehabilitation beds and 9 short stay nursing beds, which will be subject to review prior to the commencement of any further procurement process.
