Description

Cheshire West and Chester Council has a Housing Management Contract for the management, repair and maintenance of its 5,300 Council homes. This contract ends in June 2027 and we are exploring options for the future. These include bringing housing management in-house to the Council, with repairs and maintenance delivered by an external contractor; and contracting out both the management and maintenance to a Registered Provider. We would like to engage with Registered Providers (RP) of social and affordable housing and repairs and maintenance contractors to get an understanding of the market - is there an appetite to deliver a similar contract; what would the potential costs be; and how would the market view separate housing management and repairs and maintenance contracts?
