Description
London needs a consumer recovery campaign. International and domestic visitors to London spent nearly £11 billion less in London than in 2019 due to the coronavirus pandemic. The Mayor has made it a top priority to bring life back to central london and kick-start the city's economy after the pandemic. The Mayor of London, the GLA, London & Partners, and Transport for London, are working together with industry partners to deliver a recovery marketing campaign to support the reopening of central London. The campaign will inspire Londoners and people from across the UK to rediscover everything they love about London in an inclusive, sustainable and responsible manner. The tourism element of the campaign will be based on the 'Let's Do London' strapline (aligned and co-branded with Visit Britain's Escape the Everyday). This includes a series of high-profile city-wide activations to encourage people to enjoy London responsibly based around marquee events, activations and pop-up activity happening across the city (with a focus on Central London.
